Background

For Web Summit Qatar 2026, Descifer conceptualized and delivered QSTP’s Diamond Sponsor flagship booth under one unifying idea: CONVENE — positioning QSTP as the oasis of innovation within a sea of “cold tech.”

In an environment dominated by aggressive blue neon, glossy white plastics, and generic boxy structures, we designed a 12m x 12m spatial ecosystem anchored by a Living Data Tree — an iconic sculptural landmark symbolizing growth, incubation, and human connection. The booth replaced transactional tech aesthetics with warmth, hospitality, and immersive engagement, reframing QSTP as the convening force of the ecosystem.

From strategy and spatial design to fabrication oversight, programming integration, apparel, giveaways, and full on-site operations, Descifer delivered the project end-to-end within a compressed timeline. The structure stood out distinctly on the floor, drawing organic footfall and sustained engagement across all four days.

The space functioned as a live platform: 56 startups were featured, 28 received dedicated daily displays, and 16 workshops and meetings were successfully hosted. Immersive interactions were thoughtfully integrated to encourage discovery and meaningful exchange rather than passive viewing.

Sustainable apparel unified the QSTP team with a premium and cohesive presence. Carefully curated giveaways — designed to be useful, considered, and environmentally conscious — differentiated QSTP from surrounding exhibitors. 500 were distributed during the summit, with an additional 200 delivered post-event.

The result was more than a booth. It was a living, operational ecosystem — warm in tone, strong in structure, and built to convene global founders, investors, partners, and media under one impactful presence.
